Clara is definitaly a dog that needed rescued in the worst way.  But she is well on the road to recovery and to again becoming the beauty she once was.  She's one of those dogs where we'd love to know her story as she no doubt has a sad one to tell if she only could.  We're glad to help give her a future that will be much brighter!

Clara is a happy little girl.  She has plenty of spunk but is also content to relax with her person, too.  She gets along with the other dogs here (all females) but proper introductions will be important.  She's also pretty smart as she figured out how to use the dog door completely on her own.  She loves affection and will jump up on your empty lap if you are not paying attention!  We are just plain guessing at her age.  Her teeth are very worn down (part of her mysterious and unfortunate past, no doubt) so it is very hard to judge.  Clara weighs just under 20 lbs.  She will be spayed soon.
