MEET MADRE:  Madre is a sweet young pit bull momma that came to the pound as a stray. It was very apparent she had been nursing pups, but the pups were no where to be found. She was thin and timid, but as sweet as could be.  She has now been spayed and is putting on weight and yes, she is still as sweet as can be. What a beautiful dog she is.  Now that she is feeling better, she would sure love to move into a warm home and learn how to be truly loved by her humans. Please stop out at the Portage Co Dog Warden's Shelter and meet Madre, take her for a walk, enjoy the sweet love she has to give.
