I found "Chance" on 8-29-14 running along side the road.  I opened up the back of my car and he jumped right in.

His ears are clipped ultra short, he wasn't neutered (he is now!), he smelled awful as if he'd been kept in a kennel and although he wasn't emaciated, he certainly was kept very trim.   I think they were grooming this dog to fight.

Chance received his first set of vaccines, his one year rabies, wormer and tested for heartworm - negative .  I think he's 12-18 months old, and he plays like a puppy!  He is house and crate trained. He gets along fine with my 12 year old female dog but he is NOT good with cats.

I almost found this out the hard way and had to tackle him to prevent him from going after my cats.  Even when I had to wrestle him to the ground, he showed absolutely NO aggression toward me.  He's let me take various things out of his mouth (including food) with no complaint.

He's definitely a people dog and wants to be my side constantly - even sits outside the shower! Granted, he has chewed a few things up, but  at 12-18 months, I still consider him to be a puppy!  Chance is a good dog and if it weren't for the cat issue (I have 3), I'd keep him in a second.
