Blackie
Unfortunately, less than one week before Christmas, Blackie crossed over the rainbow bridge. We adopted Blackie from the rescue back in 2017, at the ripe old age of 16. We knew we could give him a good “retirement” home and have a positive impact on his quality of life. Little did we know the impact he would have on us. Blackie loved napping around the house, randomly picking and rotating his preferred napping spot. He greeted and made friends with everyone who came to visit. He also enjoyed the car rides to Starbucks and the ice cream stand. I’m sure he is one of the few cats to meet the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus in the same year! He’s gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Thanks so much.
Boz
Thank you Rose’s rescue for the best dog ever. Boz was adopted 13 years ago, he passed away this morning. He brought us much joy to all our family & friends
Brody
Brody has crossed over the rainbow bridge. He was such a good sweet boy. Didn't eat his past few meals. Didn't wander the yard like usual. Lots and lots of coughing. My niece and nephew slept over and just loved on him. It broke my heart, but no more suffering.
Brooke
3 days ago I posted a picture of Brooke and I. Never did I expect to post now and say Brooke passed away tonight at 6:46. I’m shattered my heart is crushed.
Rest in Paradise Brooke. I am so sorry girl. I didn’t know you were so sick. Nobody did.
Always remember sweet Brooke our motto heart to heart, soul to soul, we are forever.
Bryce
On behalf of Jerry, Molly, and myself we would like to thank everyone for their kinds words and prayers on the crossing of the Rainbow Bridge of our boy Bryce.
Volunteers who have been with the rescue awhile may remember Bryce. He was a character and somewhat of a wild child. He was one that didn't show well at events due to an intimidating face but I always felt he had a sweet face. He was with the rescue a long time until we saw his video and that wiggle butt locked him in as ours. With some work on our part he calmed down and became the best dog. He had been fighting health issues for several years and finally decided it was time to go home.
We had a chance to lay on the floor and say goodbye before he crossed. The house is very quiet now without him talking and barking. He was a special one and he will never by replaced. We love and miss you so much but we will meet again someday. He is no longer in pain...run free sweet boy!
