Ginger-Gentle but Skittish
Hello! I adopted Ginger, now Macie Mae. Everything about the adoption process was a positive experience. Macie was in need of a quiet home and did best with females and no kids. After losing my husband on Memorial Day, and my Jack Russell 3 days later, my home was a perfect fit. We both got right to work rescuing each other and we grow closer every day. I canât imagine my life without her and she is a joy to have. She is becoming more confident that she is safe, is doing well with potty training, she eats well, and her coat is shiny and filling in. She loves our daily walks and is always excited to check out every little thing that moves. Thank you for blessing me with such a precious little pup!
Gibney
Gibney(we usually just say Gibby) is doing wonderfully well here! We love her so much even though once in awhile she has a little tif with Izzy, our old pomeranian. Other than that, she is so well behaved that we can't believe our luck! We've had a few rescue dogs and all have been wonderful. I was hoping that this time wouldn't break our luck streak and it didn't!
Thanks for checking in on us and a great big thank you to all of you who made it possible!Â
George - Anxiously waiting 4 his 4ever!
Hi Linda!
Nice to hear from you.
GiGi (formerly known as George) is doing well here!
Our established older cat has finally accepted him (theyâre not cuddling yet but weâre getting there!), and heâs super comfortable around the entire house now. He even has a favorite nap chair.
We had a great experience adopting from Roseâs and are recommending it to anyone is search of adoption!
Iâve attached a picture of GiGi in his favorite chair :)
Gizmo
Gizmo is doing well. Heâs a very sweet dog and seems to have settled in. Heâs done
well in the yard, hasnât tried to get out of the fenced area.  Weâve been on severalÂ
walks which he really likes. The only thing Iâm working on is getting the catÂ
comfortable around him. He will chase her a little, doesnât really try to catch her,Â
just likes to chase her out of the room. Iâm hoping theyâll get used to each other. Â
Iâve been putting a baby gate on the stairs so he canât go up there when Iâm at work,Â
a safe space for the cat. Otherwise no issues. He has an appointment at MemorialÂ
Animal Hospital on May 27 to get established with them and to get hisÂ
heartworm/flea medicine. Â
Goose - Kitten
Thanks so much for reaching out! Things have been going well so far with Goose, he's been very well adjusted and seems quite happy in his new home. No major issues or questions to report yet, but of course I'll be sure to let you know if anything arises in the future.
I can't thank you guys at Rose's Rescue enough for the good work you do to make sure that so many cats get to go to good homes. It was a pleasure to deal with you and I'll be sure to tell anyone I know in the area looking for a new friend about you guys.
And since you asked, here are simply way too many pictures of Goose.
Thank you again!
