Polly Pockets - Special Needs Senior

Things are going really well. She is definitely part of our family now. She's opening up more every day. She actually dances around sometimes like she wants to play. The change is pretty amazing. She loves her bed.

ChuckL

Our boy Chuck Fynn was adopted by us on 10/9/14 from Rose's rescue. He is now 12 and a half years old, has arthritis, one shot kidney, and has kidney disease. Everyday we have with him is a gift. He is our sweet boy, and our 7 year old standard poodle keeps him on his toes! Picture is of Chuck Fynn, his "brother" Izzy and my hubby, who is the light of Chuck Fynn's life.

Chloe

Chloe has turned out to be a wonderful dog for us. We lost our beloved Roxy last week and I cannot tell you how grateful I am that Chloe is here with us. She is just a joy to have. I have taken her on the ferry to put in Bay, she has rode in a golf cart at Catawba, and strolled the beach at Vermilion. She has been in her first costume contest dressed as a chicken and was a perfect contestant. She is traveling very well in her little crate in the car. We are hoping to take her to Tennessee with us in November.

Minnie

My cat formally named Minnie now named Ivry is doing amazing and has an amazing life. I am forever thankful for Roses Rescue and the foster family who took her in before I adopted her. She loves her toys and her big sister, Bea who has shown her the ropes on how to be as chill as her. She’s an amazing cat and so grateful that I have her in my life.

Ivey

hank you for your email about our adoption.  We adopted Neko Rose (formerly Ivey) on 9/17 at 3 months old and 3 lbs .  We had a 1.5 hour car ride home from the adoption, and she did wonderful, very relaxed while her new mommy Danielle talked to her through her carrier window.  When we brought her home, she came right out of her carrier, stretched, and started immediately playing with her toys.  She has MANY toys and loves to play, especially during interactive play sessions with us.  She's a confident girl who has no problem letting us know what she wants.  She is very athletic and has many opportunities to climb and exercise .  She loves to cuddle but likes her independence, too.  She will be 6 months old on October 30th and is on the road to getting her weight up to 5 lbs.  Cassidy is the volunteer that we worked with, she was excellent in answering our many questions through texts, emails  and even phone calls.  Our vet required additional records and Cassidy was right on it. Yes Foster mom Anne was fabulous too!  We say she grew up next to Hiram College. We like to think of her as our Queen. However she’s becoming a teenager. Watch out world her she comes. Grateful for Rose’s Rescue.
