Ginger-Gentle but Skittish
Hello! I adopted Ginger, now Macie Mae. Everything about the adoption process was a positive experience. Macie was in need of a quiet home and did best with females and no kids. After losing my husband on Memorial Day, and my Jack Russell 3 days later, my home was a perfect fit. We both got right to work rescuing each other and we grow closer every day. I canât imagine my life without her and she is a joy to have. She is becoming more confident that she is safe, is doing well with potty training, she eats well, and her coat is shiny and filling in. She loves our daily walks and is always excited to check out every little thing that moves. Thank you for blessing me with such a precious little pup!
Gibney
Gibney(we usually just say Gibby) is doing wonderfully well here! We love her so much even though once in awhile she has a little tif with Izzy, our old pomeranian. Other than that, she is so well behaved that we can't believe our luck! We've had a few rescue dogs and all have been wonderful. I was hoping that this time wouldn't break our luck streak and it didn't!
Thanks for checking in on us and a great big thank you to all of you who made it possible!Â
Cinnamon*
e have gone through basic training classes with her, and we all did well. Â
Housebreaking is still a work in progress . She and Bailey, our Chiweenie, get along well almost all the time. Cinnamon gets into everything so we have learned to keep nothing, like a snack, unattended. She freaked out at the Vet when they tried to cut her nails, so we were given a medication to calm her and we will try again next week. The hoarder who had her had probably never had her nails cut and they were EXTREMELY long when we first met her. They were cut, I believe, when she was spayed, which was a few days before we got her. Of course, they were still too long and we are slowly trying to get them to a normal length. Cinnamon loves to snuggle with both my husband and me. She is a welcome addition to our home. I think a nickname for her would be âMischief.â Â
