I just have to tell you again how grateful we are for this gorgeous animal. She has turned out a lot better than I ever expected. She just fits into our lifestyle perfectly. She had her first bath on Monday. She did great. Her ears are cleared up and so far no excessive itching. She sleeps in our bed or in hers at night and we have let her have the run of the house when we are gone and it worked out fine. She does no tear up anything. I couldn't ask for a better furbaby. She loves Ron to death. They have bonded very well. I was worried about her not liking us but I think she does. She gets frantic when one of us goes behind closed doors (like in the bathroom). She does not like that. We take her with us a lot in the car as I told you and she is fine. Again, thank you for everything concerning this baby. We love her so much. (By the way, she is becoming very spoiled, I wonder why?) Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Sammy

We adopted Sammy, a yellow lab, from Roses and we are thrilled!!! He is such a good boy and joy to have as part of our family!!! He has some allergies that Rose told us about but we took him to an allergy specialist vet and had him tested and found out he is allergic to just about every kind of grass and weed there is and dust mites so he would have to be on shots, which stopped working or allergy pills, which we didn’t want for him for the rest of his life. So the vet recommended having allergy drops made specially for what he is allergic to. He just started on the drops this past week and they normally work in 60% of dogs. I have to give him 2 drops twice a day to start building up his immunity to what he is allergic to. Let’s hope they work for him. We brought him with us to our home in Florida and I don’t think his allergies are as bad down here. Otherwise all is good with Sammy. He has lost about 3-5 lbs since we got him b/c he runs around and plays all day!! And goes for long walks and is totally addicted to tennis balls and chasing them all day!! He is very happy and gets along great with our female 3 yr old black lab. We are so glad we found Sammy and even after a few short months he is such a BIG and special part of our family!! Thanks to Roses Rescue!!! PS. Tell Rose I did put him and Zoe on a natural diet and he gets home cooked meals everyday and is absolutely LOVING his food and that helped his coat get really healthy and soft. He is doing fantastic on the new diet!!!

Just wanted to say Thank You so much for bringing Shadow into our lives ❤️ She has made herself at home and we love her so much!

Sara Sue

Sara Sue now Zoe; She is a sweetheart, her personality is coming along nicely, she is still very skittish about so many things it makes me sad.... but she is such a happy little girl normally....as long as there are no loud noises, no one moves too fast or growls, lol. She loves her siblings but her favorite is my other toy poodle, Abby, who Zoe treats as an older sister. Ironically, she was also a mill puppy and out of that environment by the time she was a yr old yet still displays some of the same traits as Zoe... and I've had her since 2012. Zoe is the most playful of them all. So loving, she nudges me with her cold nose if not getting the attention she feels she deserves because you know they never think they get enough. She is beside me as I write, I am always surrounded by dogs and I'd have it no other way! ~ Cathy~
