Misty

Missy aka Misty: It is with heavy heart that we inform you that our beloved little Missy has passed away. During 2019, Missy was diagnosed with tumors on her spleen, liver and mammary glands, that eventually spread to her throat and restricted her breathing and swallowing. Our Veterinarian sent Missy away peacefully yesterday, because none of us wanted to see her suffer. Despite all of her health issues, we are comforted in knowing that Missy lived out the last two and a half years in a loving and caring home. She was such a sweet dog and grew very attached to our family, particularly Joe, who she would follow everywhere he went! Attached are a few photos of Missy. We will miss her dearly and will forever cherish the time Missy was a part of our family. We are most grateful that Rose's Rescue provided us with the opportunity to bring Missy into our lives and we would like to make a contribution in Missy's memory. We will forward a check in the upcoming days.

Harley

Harley now Farley; I just wanted to share a Farley update-Around Christmas, his vet found a tumor in one of his anal sacs. He was acting like his back side was bothering him but we couldn’t see anything so we asked them to check when he had his dental. They said that these tend to be malignant, metastasize, and be aggressive, but it was relatively small. Anyhow, we had it removed on January 27th. It was tested and it was what they thought- an adenocarcinoma 😢Recovery has not been fun, but from what the histopathology report showed, it had not spread to the vascular or lymphatic systems. So although we put him through this, I do believe we have bought ourselves some more time with him! He should only need his donut cone for another week

We got Layla 11 years ago from Roses’s Rescue Cell Puppy Program!!! Since then we brought home 2 human babies! Layla is the best big sister & her calmness & patience with both our children is like none other. Layla did suffer a loss recently. Our kitty of 17 years passed away. With the help of the kiddos, Layla is back to herself enjoying the quiet time!!

Sporty

Max aka Sporty loves his toy and laying under the tree.Everything is going well !!! We had the time of learning & adjusting and we got through it. We love our Max aka Sparky & can't imagine life without him. We can't Thank Rose's Rescue enough for this little sweetheart!

Abe

Abe was an old chihuahua boy that was at the APL 3 years ago. Rose's Rescue saved him and we agreed to foster him. Needless to say we were a foster fail. Today we had to make the dreadful decision of letting Abe cross the rainbow bridge. This is the hardest part of having fur babies.
