Good things come in small packages!  This little guy was taken to the pound because his owner did not have the time to spend with him.  He is darling - just a bitty thing.  We haven't weighed him yet but he's probably between 5 and 10 lbs, so a real lap dog!  He looks like a mini-dachshund, but also has some schnauzer or some type of terrier mixed in somwhere too.  We are still getting to know Shadow, but so far we have observed that he loves his crate, travels well in the car, is very affectionate and has some playful energy.  He was initially intimidated by the other dogs (ran to his crate for cover!) but once he knows they are not going to hurt him, he seemed fine.
