Meet Chloe! Chloe came to the rescue after experiencing a lot of trauma for such a young girl. At the time of intake (8/21/23) Chloe was estimated to be 8 months old. She lived all 8 months outside braving the elements and found herself pregnant as she wasn’t vetted. Unfortunately she had all her babies prematurely and none made it. Chloe then came to us and has been recovering since. Initially she was a really timid girl and didn’t like much change. After a couple of weeks she really opened up, and after being fully vetted was allowed to then mingle with other cats. While Chloe likes other cats, she prefers them not to be overwhelming or high energy to her. She can tolerate kittens, but we often find her napping beside one of her adult friends on a heating pad. Now that Chloe has grown into a very confident and assured cat, she also loves playtime! She loves to chase toys around, scratch on scratchers, climb cat towers, and even dive through tunnels. 

As soon as you walk into the room Chloe is there to greet you. Often times with her voice as well, she likes to yell. She jumps from obstacle to obstacle to follow you around and see what you’re doing. She’ll roll all over the ground in front of you and quietly meow until you pet her. Chloe is also highly food motivated. She looks forward to scheduled meal times every day. Her all time favorite treat in the world is a churu. She goes bonkers for them. If she sees another cat getting one she’ll lick the air in envy.
