Meet Gabby! Gabby came to the rescue (7/31/23) at an estimated 6 months old. Gabby came from a very traumatic situation, but has since recovered. Her first few months of life were spent in a hoarded house with cats dying around her. At some point she escaped, and then was her fortunately trapped and surrendered to the rescue. Since moving into her foster home Gabby has gone through a range of emotions. When she arrived she was terrified and cried very often. Almost as if she was mourning something. After being fully vetted she was allowed to be around the other cats, and this is where her true personality came out. Gabby shines when she has a friend to love her. We think she didn’t know the love of a human, but always knew the love of having another cat. We highly recommend Gabby be adopted into a home with another cat, or friendly dog companion. 

As soon as you walk in the room Gabby is sure to greet you. She likes to come sit a few feet away from you and repeatedly meow until you give her whatever she’s asking for- wether it be a simple head scratch or her breakfast. Gabby spends her alone time napping with the other cats, or herself sometimes. She enjoys a feeding schedule where she can get wet food twice a day. 

Right now Gabby also spends her time around a litter of kittens and that makes her heart complete. She loves to groom them, map with them, and most of all- play with them. Gabby loves feather wand toys where she can chase, stalk, and hunt. She’s quite talented.
