About Reggie | |
|
My name is Reggie and my brother Jackson and I were rescued by this nice lady from Rose's Rescue so we can find forever homes with nice families. Mom says I am more active than my brother, but we are both good boys and pretty typical puppies. We are working on that housebreaking thing, but we are so little that it will take us a while before we can be reliable with such a feat. Keep reading to make sure you are up to providing us with everything we need at this important stage of our lives.
If you are considering adopting one of these puppies, it is recommended that they not go to a home where an owner is at work for a full day. The longest they should be left alone is for 3 or 4 hours at a time during the first month or so after being adopted, and even that is a long time during the first few weeks after being weaned. Besides the fact that their bodies are not developed enough to “hold it” when they are this young, leaving them crated or unattended for hours on end will not offer them the love, attention, socialization, exercise, or training that they will need to become the adult dogs you want them to be for their lifetime - and a good part of your lifetime too.
If you think you are ready to take on the comittment of raising and training a puppy, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here: adoption application.
