HAPPY TAILS!

We love hearing updates about our former rescues from their forever families.  If you have adopted a pet from Rose's Rescue and would like to submit his or her story for our Happy Tails page, please send it to rosesrescuepets@gmail.com, put Happy Tails in the subject line, and don't forget to include a picture!

Dusty Buns - Sweet Squinty Boy

Living the good life!

Diesel

Diesel loves certain veggies.  We almost exclusively just feed him dog food, but one day while i was chopping cauliflower a piece fell to the floor and he picked it up.  It looks like false teeth!  So funny

DuffyG
DuffyG

My husband and I felt very well care for by Roses Recue as we made a home for Duffy.  Duffy came into our lives with a bundle of problems - the biggest being anxiety caused aggression.  The rescue and his foster mom went above and beyond to remedy Duffy’s problems.  We have made progress too but we have much to do.  We love him and will continue giving him a forever home.

Ditto

Thanks so much for reaching out! Copper has been doing great so far! We don't have any major concerns at the moment - he has been doing okay with potty training, still some accidents but that's to be expected, and he has been quite nippy but that is all standard puppy behavior we have been able to work on with him and seems to be slowly improving over time. He loves his kitty brothers a bit too much sometimes but the cats have safe places to run to when it's too much for them and it seems that everyone is adjusting okay. We have enrolled him in puppy preschool and he was been doing very well with that and will graduate to obedience classes soon. Overall, we are so happy to have adopted him and he has truly become part of our small family already!

Dora - Sweet Senior

Everything is going great. Dora is still getting used to having brothers (she has 3! All adopted from roses!) but there are no major issues. I’m still learning her likes and dislikes, but she has become my best friend and is a great addition to the family.  We truly love adopting from Roses and I have become great friends with foster mom Amber. Two of our boys came from her foster room and she assisted with Dora’s adoption. My parents have also adopted 2 fosters from Amber. Safe to say we are a Roses Rescue family. We know any pet from Roses was well taken care of and received   the proper care, treatment and love prior to adopting.
