Harley
Harley now Farley; I just wanted to share a Farley update-Around Christmas, his vet found a tumor in one of his anal sacs. He was acting like his back side was bothering him but we couldnât see anything so we asked them to check when he had his dental. They said that these tend to be malignant, metastasize, and be aggressive, but it was relatively small. Anyhow, we had it removed on January 27th. It was tested and it was what they thought- an adenocarcinoma ð¢Recovery has not been fun, but from what the histopathology report showed, it had not spread to the vascular or lymphatic systems. So although we put him through this, I do believe we have bought ourselves some more time with him! He should only need his donut cone for another week
Herman
It's great to hear from you! Herman is doing really well - he has totally become part of our family! He had to go to the Dr. for a UTI around Christmas time, but otherwise he's healthy and full of life! He's got such a sweet, fun personality that he totally wins over everyone he meets, even if he isn't super cuddly! He isn't interested in toys at all, but loves to play games where he can find his kibble! His favorite is when I roll up a few pieces in an old dish towel and he has to unroll it to find the food. He would play that all day long! He still loves car rides, food, naps and walks. He's the greatest little guy, he has really won our hearts!
I can't express enough how much I appreciate Rose's and everything you all did to take care of our little old man until he came to us! You all are absolutely wonderful, and I can't thank you enough!
Halle
We adopted Halle in July (2018). She is doing great and we are so happy that we found her! Halle is such a happy, fun, and loving girl and we love her so much! She has settled in nicely to her forever home and is enjoying going on walks, playing with her toys, digging in her blankets, and snuggling with us on the couch. We appreciate all the care that Roses Rescue and her foster mom Sue gave to her.
Hickory
Echo (formerly known as Hickory, one of Floraâs puppies born 05/06/2017) turned a year old recently, and he has grown to be quite different from when he was a pup. He looks a lot like his mama now, with a very unique personality! Just thought Iâd share.
